The event featured various speakers (Indiana University professor, Methodist Hospitals administrator, Gary Chamber of Commerce President, Dean and Barbara White Center administrator) who presented on topics such as digital civility, community civility counts, and civility in diversity. seniors

It’s hard to believe, but there's not much time left in the 2021-22 school year! For our seniors, there are several important dates to keep in mind as they finish out their high school careers. Please make note of the following:

UNTIL APRIL 14: PROM COLLECTION

Students must be cleared to purchase tickets by Mrs. Buckley and Mr. Smith. Tickets are $65 for individuals or $120 for couples. Cash and money orders are the only forms of payment accepted.

MAY 6: PROM

Prom 2022 is from 7 to 11 p.m. at Chateau Banquets. Let’s have a safe, fun, and memorable event!

MAY 27: LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR SENIORS

JUNE 1: GRADUATION PRACTICE

This is mandatory for all students who plan to walk for the ceremony! Practice begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Calumet High School gymnasium. Students will receive their cap and gown at the practice. Breakfast will be served.

JUNE 3: GRADUATION CEREMONY
Graduation will begin at 5 p.m. on June 3 on the football field unless the weather is inclement. If that happens, we'll move the ceremony inside the Calumet gym. We look forward to seeing our seniors and their families at this event!

21st Century Scholars
Attention Seniors:  If you are enrolled in 21st Century Scholars, you have a few days to catch up on your activities. If you have not already done so, please come to Guidance on Monday to get help in completing this important step to pay for college. If this is not completed by April 15, you will lose out on having your entire tuition paid for at any Indiana College and many trade schools.
